Has anyone tried the Letts: Wild About English/Maths books?

Just came across these in my Book People catalogue. There are no reviews for the 3-5 ones on Amazon, so was wondering if these are any good for my three-year-old. Bit wary of using a book as I tend to teach her through games, etc.

I'm just waiting for these to be delivered so I can't tell you if they are any good but here are my thoughts to why I ordered the
Letts have a good reputation
We've got some "normal' work books and my lo isn't interested for longer then 3 mins, but as she loves animals these might keep her attention for longer.
It's all learning and I'm excited about them so it will at least keep my interest!
