Recommendations for books for 6mo baby

Hi there,
I love reading to my little boy and he seems to enjoy being read to too. I've got the Dr Seuss collection and I read one a day to him which I know is designed for older children but he enjoys the rhyme and repetition. However, I'd like some more interactive/sensory, age-appropriate books. Please can anyone recommend some? Thanks.

The series of One Mole Digging a Hole, Chocolate Mousse for Greedy Goose, Hippo has a Hat - all very popular in our house. Also anything by Nick Sharratt - Yawn, Shark in the Park.

Well the 'that's not my... ' series are worth buying a few.
Priddy books - it's a publisher I think- have a whole range that look lovely.
Also the dorling kindersley stuff is always worth a look.

The usborne "peep inside" or something similar, there's the garden, zoo, night time etc. They're so cleverly put together, detailed and colourful that I love looking at them myself. I wish there were more!

I quite like the Baby Touch books - it's for a bit older child but the one with lots of vehicles is good. I think it might be Baby Say... Zoom? Cars? I can't remember but it's good touchy-feely.

I used to read rhyming oldies to my son around 6m too - Bunny Fluffs' Moving Day and things. Keep on with them as well as 'baby' books - it will make a real difference to his speech, vocabulary and reading later on.

Good night Moon and Pat the Bunny are faves in this household. Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See by Eric Carle.

At that age mine loved the books with sound effects. She really enjoyed pushing the button to make the noise, and I think that helps them learn cause and effect too.

Looked it up - it's Baby Touch Beep! Beep! I think it says inside 'Baby say...'

There are quite a few in the series though.

Some brilliant recommendations, thank you! Looking forward to purchasing these and snuggling down for a read.
