Best illustrated fairy tale books

Would like to buy ds a fairy tale book for his birthday. He'll be 2 so it needs to have a high picture to words ratio ideally. Any suggestions? I ordered the Usborne 'Fairy Tales for Small Children' but am not at all keen on the illustrations, would like something a bit more classic feeling.

The Helen Oxenbury Nursery Story collection is very nice, if it's still in print.

there are also some great interactive books on the iBooks Store if you have an iPad. These work well with young kids- I have downloaded some of the disney ones for my daughters.

I write kids books for 4-8yr olds called Early Myths- might be worth a look too.
