If he likes 'Emily Brown...' (4 years old)

Hello there

can anyone recommend books for an almost 4 year old who likes the adventures of Emily Brown and that kind of thing?

He's starting to like longer more involved stories with fun adventures.

Some other stuff he likes

'Tiddler'
'The three little wolves and the big bad pig'
'The giant jam sandwich'

My top tip would be to go to a charity shop and buy a few books and give them a go.

Ah - thanks. I did a big trawl through the charity shops recently.

I guess I want quirky fairly involved stories that are funny.
