Can anyone recommend anything suitable? Either single books or a set? DD loves history and nature, but I'm open to any other suggestions. Thanks!

Usborne do great non fiction books, the flap books are great, so much information in them. See inside your body, see inside science, etc.

Thanks Sandy!

Second the suggestion for Usborne! They do a good set of Greek Heroes books, each one dedicated to a myth/legend. I know one is called The Minotaur, and I think there one about Theseus.

Have a look at the shortlist for this science award

Some great books in there!
