Just bought the first 2 chalet school books!

I can remember them being on my grandparents book shelves for years and I never got around to reading them. So at the age of 40 , I am going to start the collection and see what I missed. Dd10 loved Malory towers so she may like to read them as well.

Dd2 (10yo) has loved the Chalet School books for the last couple of years, and was most put out to find that it was fictional no longer taking pupils.

Dd1 never enjoyed them though, although she loved the Enid Blyton ones.

I'm reading them to dd at the moment, she's 10, and she is now totally obsessed with them, we're at about book 19 now so only another 40 or so to go.

I'm excited, going to read them to dd! Lovely bonding sessions!
