Graphic novels for 6-9 year olds

I recently bought a stash of Tintin books, mostly to relive my happy childhood. To my surprise, my two DDs (aged 6 and 9) have been devouring them. While I know Tintin is a classic, I wonder if there is something more recent anyone would recommend.

My children like to read the following sort of thing: Roald Dahl, Joan Aiken, Enid Blyton, Goosebumps, CS Lewis, and various go-girl fairy stuff that I haven't really looked at.

Any suggestions very gratefully received.

Gaiman's younger books have GN versions: The Graveyard Book, Stardust, his older series Books of Magic.

Holly Blacks The Good Neighbors is another fairy one but that might be a bit too old/scary

Asterix, Adventure Time, the Simpsons and My Little Pony. There are picture book editions of Roald Dahl books directed at kids around the age of yours (more text and older storylines than normal picture books). I'd go into a bookshop and look at them first to see if you think they're suitable for your kids though (especially the Graveyard Book - it starts off with a family being stabbed to death - good book though)! Check the 'Gift Books/Fairy Tales' bay/bays in bookshops, as GNs often get put in there because they're a bit different from your average paperback.

The Ottoline books by Chris Riddell are fabulous, I reckon your dds would love them.

Fortunately the Milk is a new one by Neil Gaiman & is definitely fine for a 6 y/o :)

Although, I am not the OP, thanks for all the suggestions. They are super useful for me, too.
