Children's books on kindle - suggestions please

My DS has been given a kindle and we have been trying to find books for him to read. He is a bit of a reluctant reader and the kindle is mainly to help with a visual impairment that he has. My problem has been finding fairly cheap books that will interest him. We found a selection of titles in the library recently that he wanted to read but none of them were available on kindle. Anything zombie, vampire, ghost / ghoul related would be perfect.

Anyone got any suggestions please......

What age is he?

There is Department 19 by Will Hill which is not too long and full of vampires and blood and gore but I've put it more in the 13+ range because of the content. It's not a hard read though.

Sorry should have said he is 9, yr4 at school. His reading is on track with where it should be but he is by no means ahead of his age in terms of reading

Peas have you heard of calibre? You can convert any ebook into kindle format so he won't be restricted to just amazon, he should be able to borrow ebooks from his library too Smile

Check whether your local library offers a download service, mine does (London) and I know that eg Hertfordshire libraries does as well. Lots cheaper than buying them Grin
