Greek myths for 4.9 year old?

DS saw a medusa statue at natural history museum. I told him the tamest version of the story but he keeps asking for more god stories.

Can anyone recommend something?

Atticus the story teller CDs, do not get the penguin classics, eek! Tantulus does eat his son in Atticus but gets his comeuppance, I still skip it though.

There's an usborne book called something like 100 Greek myths. They are all short enough to be done in a bedtime story slot.

You might want to skip some though - quite a few are seriously grizzly.

Do you mean mythology?

TheNightIsDark · 20/01/2014 17:39

Yes I mean mythology Confused
Confused by that.

Have ordered the linked book. Apparently DPs explanation of Hades has gone down well. I've just heard DS repeating it to his 3 y/o sister!

I think other people have mentioned this Atticus the Story Teller book above, but DS and sister's DSS were both mad about it. My 10 yo DS still reads it now.

TheNightIsDark · 27/01/2014 21:21

That's the one I went for. DS is loving it!
