Funny bedtime stories for a 4 yr old

Any suggestions to what stories suitable for a 4 yr old at bedtime. Probably similar to the Dr Seuss range of books for humour:

My DS2 cannot stop laughing at stories like Too Many Daves, The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham.

Also adores the Bernstein Bears Picnic and Bike lessons books.

What other books might he like for bedtime stories that have a great sense of silly humour.

Don't know about funnies but mine loves You Choose and Down the Back of the Chair!

Who's afraid of the big bad book? think thats what it is called.

YY to You Choose although I have to hide it in the end when I simply cannot read it for the 200th time.

I'm not normally a big Julia Donaldson fan but Jack and the Flumflum Tree is great.

Also: Pass the Jam, Jim by Kaye Umansky. And, if DS likes a teeny bit of gore, the version of Jim - A Cautionary Tale that's illustrated by Mini Grey
