My DS 4 loves listening to Dogger by Shirley Hughes. I would like to get him some more audio books that come with the printed text. Can anyone recommend some good ones?

Paddington in the garden (read by Stephen Fry).
We had an Elmer the elephant one.
Also some of the Large Family by Jill Murphy.

Some of the Usborne First Reading Series come with CD's. Great for that age because they can also have a go at following the text as they listen.

Try the 'Oxford Owls' website. It has lots of Oxford Reading Tree ebooks that you can read alongside the audio. www.oxfordowl.co.uk

The "little red train" by Benedict Blathwayt series have audio books, picture book plus CD attached, read by Richard Briers. They're good as the details in the stories is excellent.

when Briers died, TV went on about the Good Life. We just rued that he wouldn't be able to voice any more Little Red Train books - they won't be as good read by anyone else. Sad
