Recommendations - cat books for 12yr old

DS has just read Bob No Ordinary Cat, and loved it. He isn't a big reader, so it's great to find something that really grabs him. Can anyone recommend anything similar please?

• no cats on it though alhtough I know the Mortal Chaos books have been popular with some boy reluctant readers. Otherwise there is Adolphus Tips by Michael Morpurgo that I can think about that it s about a cat.

How about "The incredible journey" Sheila Burnford, I read this when I was about 11, it is not strictly one cat, but Tao the siamese cat and her two companions and the story of their journey. Fabulous book!

Its a long time since I read it, but maybe Jennie by Paul Gallico. Its an adult book, but IIRC would be fine for a 12 year old.
