Stories about friendships

Looking for a gentle method to steer DD in right direction if possible and thought a story might help. Can you think of a title suitable for reception age, about friendship/not hurting feelings/not abandoning friends when the next person comes along to play and how it is kinder to include everybody in the game? She's on ORT 7/8 so reading quite well but definitely still 4 YO in other aspects! She's reasonably sensitive and kind (and has been upset about not being played with in the past so knows how it feels). Saying all that, it is quite possible this completely normal for her age and that I am more worried by this than I should be but any useful books to get her thinking appreciated!

Hate to say this but the madonna book is along those lines. Something about roses is what it's called.

Trying to think what else. She is but young for Judy Blume!

Maybe charlie and Lola? There was an episode lately about changing friendships maybe there's a book?

One of the Topsy and Tim books is about this very thing, but I can't remember which one - sorry!

Have you tried the library? Ours has lots of "situation" books about friendship.

Great suggestions, thankyou all very much, will have a hunt through C&L and T&T at library. Took me a while to click - madonna as in madonna, just amazoned and there's about 10 roses books, remember hearing about them at the time but didn't realise she wrote quite as many! I will start with the How to be a Friend one and see if it sparks up any conversations. Thanks again :)
