a book with elephant family

Got a book from library about a family oif elephants, not babar, quite modern - story was mum elephant cooking dinner for dad elephant on his birthday and trying to send kids to bed - funny with lovely illustrations. It's a series and I want to buy some but can't remember name or author now! Anyone know?

The large family, - i cant remember the name of the story, but it is great, they all end up snoring on the sofa!

They're also on cbeebies but the books have been around for yonks.

It's by Jill Murphy. There's a whole series!

Sounds like we have one in that series. Called '5 Minutes Peace'. Can't check the author as have baby asleep on me atm.
