It is completely AMAZING. It's in the middle of a field, in the middle of nowhere. Last time I went there were hares boxing in one of the fields. It's in not very prepossesing single story building (but so what), with several rooms. There are greeting cards, a wall signed by all the myriads of authors who've done events with Marilyn and her team, and shelves and shelves of the very best children's books. Marilyn really knows her stuff, they are great at recommending the right book to the right child (or parent). It's a treasure trove, so worth the trip. I work in children's publishing and for years had sent authors but not gone myself, and when I did I didn't want to leave.

Will have to book a holiday cottage nearby sometime!

Her booklists look good - click on the blue "Booklists for home use" arrow.
