He's really enjoying this book but I'm not sure which direction to point him in next.

Almost want to move away from teenage fiction??

Bought him a japanese graphic novel too, to broaden his reading horizons a bit.

Any ideas?? Maybe To Kill a Mockingbird or Catcher in the Rye, both of which I read at his age.

How about War Horse or The Elephant in the Garden by Michael Morpurgo.

Or The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne

My nephew (similar age) like the The Inheritance Cycle books by Christopher Paolini. I think there's four of them.

Thanks beanbagz. Some good suggestions there.

He got Playground by 50 Cent for Christmas. An autobiographical book about the rap artist and his time at school being a bully. DS actually asked for this book but has now started a Percy Jackson book! (meh)

Some light reading methinks?!
