Good potty training story books for 2yr old

DS is 2. Just 2, so not actually planning on removing nappies anytime soon!

However I am starting to do a bit of gentle preparing. As part of that I thought slipping in a couple of stories where going to the loo played a part would help as he does love reading with us.

Can be the main point or just feature in it, e.g. In a bedtime routine-y way.

What ones have your DC enjoyed?

The Pop-up Potty Book is brilliant.

The little princess "I want my potty" was good once ds was actively working on potty training as it convinced him that everyone has the odd accident (he's a bit of a perfectionist).

The Sing and Sign books have a good one where Jessie Cat needs the potty 'quick quick quick' - admittedly we had many months of ds sitting on the potty going 'meow, meow. I'm being Jessie Cat' but I think it eventually convinced him that when you need to go, you have to go! After pressing Pause on the telly recorder, of course. :)

Once Upon A Potty by Alona Frankel. It appeals to boys' love of toilet humour and has drawings of poo etc, My ds loved it

I bought 'Pirate Pete's Potty' for DS when he was potty training and we read it quite a few times, it's pretty good IMO, focussing purely on potty training. Very attractive illustrations and a push button to make a cheering sound. When my DD was recently training she was very interested in this book, wanted to read it several times a day and it was also a signal for a number two as she liked to read Pirate Pete while doing one of those :)

They do a girl's version too, Princess Polly's Potty.

Humour communicates well. You could try Mr Spotty's Potty. Mr Spotty can't work out why his plants grow so well .. until he discovered his dog, Dot, enjoys watering them.
