DS is 22months and I'm 12 weeks pregnant. I'd like to get him some books for Christmas about pregnancy and getting a new baby and was wondering if anyone can recommend any. Preferably ones that aren't too long or have an interactive element eg flaps to lift, bits to move etc.

Thanks

I haven't seen it but Waiting for Baby has been passed around my pregnant friends with toddlers.

Zaza's baby brother is a good book for this.

I was looking at this exact thing earlier today. A book I have had recommended to me for this specific age group is 'there is a house inside my mummy'. It is really well rated and is around the £3.50 mark in AmazonGrin

my DS is 25 months and I'm 15wks myself. he absolutely loves Topsy and Tim 'The New Baby' it was v cheap on Amazon too. he especially loves the bit at the back where he gets to find objects in a picture.

coincidentally we got 'house inside my mummy' in the post yesterday (i should be kept away from the internet..Blush)

it is a wee bit longer so he ran off half way through! he loved the pictures though and will like it more when in a sitting still mood i think.

congrats :)

The Usborne First Experience New Baby sticker book is fairly good...though DD was a bit older when I was expecting DS.

Zaza's Baby Brother also v good.

For gorgeous storyline and 50's inspired illustration - and it's also pretty funny: There's Going To Be A Baby
