Managed to delete half my title somehow - sorry about that! This belongs with my earlier post...

Not my child but my Godson who is now a HUGE guy. He was three and sobbed his heart out at the 'death' of Tiny Tim in Mickey Mouse's version of a Christmas Carol.

I looked along the row at the cinema and there were all these tiny children transfixed and staring at the screen, all had tears streaming down their faces.

{welling up at the thought]

Michael Morpurgo's Private Peaceful made my son cry. And me!

Nothing seems to make dd cry! On the other hand she loves watching me sob over Good Bye Mog and I'll love you forever. I did wonder that I had a psychopath in the making, but this is totally normal apparently Grin

Black Beauty , she's read it a few times.

Just finished Warhorse and she cried at some parts near the beginning but I was weeping so much at the end that she had to read it to me Smile

There was a book in the library the other day that was too sad to read to DD2! I had to wipe my eyes after flicking through it :( And don't even get me started on Goodbye Mog!

When I was a child there were several book my mum read to me that made her cry (but I didn't often cry). Now I cry much more easily at books.

Outcast by Rosemary Sutcliffe was one of them.
