The classic is Tales of the Greek Heroes by Rober Lancelyn Green. He did a great King Arthur one as well.

'The Mabinogion'a collection of Welsh mystical legends.I used to love them as a child--might try and find them again and have another read!!

Perccy Jackson books - DS learnt a lot of greek mythology from those books

Diana Wynne Jones- 8 Days of Luke - Norse mythology, but may be out of print.

Lloyd Alexander's Prydain, series, lots of celtic mythology in there.

Susan Cooper - Seaward - more celtic mythology but may be a little old for a 10-yo?

T.H. White - The Once and Future King - brilliant retelling of the Arthurian myth, but also maybe a little too old for a 10-yo.

this is a fantastic book of Greek mythology. My DS first enjoyed it aged about 7, but aged 11 still enjoys it and through this book has become a real mythology expert.

This is the first in a new series of graphic novels of Greek mythology which are great ( Zeus and Athena are out already and we have both of those).

Rosemary Sutcliff's Homeric books - Black Ships Before Troy and The Wanderings of Odysseus (brilliantly illustrated by Alan Lee of Tolkien fame).

Percy Jackson books by Rick Riordan
Eight Days of Luke - Diana Wynne Jones

You might be able to find a junior slimmed down version of Robert Graves "The Greek Myths" - I had one when I was about 10.
