Hate directed at Childfree influencers

Has anyone else noticed the huge amount of hate Childfree influencers, especially women get?

I really couldn’t care less about influencers in general, however a few videos do pop up when I’m scrolling and contain Childfree content. I’ve scrolled quite a few of the comments on different accounts and it’s staggering the amount of hate they get for daring to speak out about their Childfree lives.

Example
Account childfreemilleninial on Instagram- comments the first comment include “entire personality and social media is about being childfree, it’s like she’s seeking validation.” Then goes onto say she probably deep down really wants kids but can’t due to fertility issues. A man with a public account actually posted this. Then other comments from men and women basically bashing Childfree people saying they’ll get depression later on in life as they’ll have no family, having children should be held higher, having children is an accomplishment and there is zero pride in being Childless. Also comments much worse than this.

The fact these people are actually posting these comments publicly on an account that is all about being Childfree is staggering. Why do these people care? Are they just jealous and regret their own choices to have children? I don’t understand why they are so hateful?

Also interesting to see that influencers who are Childfree men (especially those with cats) also get way less hate.

You dont have to be an influencer to be targeted because you are child free, There is a thread running at the moment
"AiBU to question Reforms plans to prioritise married couples for social housing"
Includes opinions that child free able bodied ppl shouldnt get social housing. Even if they are in poorly paid work.

It's a load of spiteful people with children who are exhausted, skint and jealous.

Agree with this. I have kids but was intentionally childfree for a long time and had never intended having them (story for another time).

All the people who would literally plead with me ‘you will never know LOVE you will be a wonderful mother, your hormones will take over you’ll love every minute!’

As soon as I had kids were like ‘ha loser join the club, sucks doesn’t it’.

I worked with a 19 year old and she got pregnant after about 6 months working there. The other women we worked with said some things to her that was really upsetting her such as when she went to buy lunch they'd say oh enjoy it now you won't have time to eat lunch when you have the baby, she went to super drug one lunch time she was told oh enjoy spending your money on you now because you won't buy another thing for yourself for 18 years, she came in wearing a new outfit she was told you won't be wearing that for years you'll get fat and stay that way, told she won't ever sleep again, she won't have time to watch TV, she won't have time for weekends away with her partner etc. Also the birth horror stories!

Anyway, she was telling me one day how upset she was I told her ignore what they say to you and listen what they say to me instead. She was so shocked when she did, I'd never know love, I would never be truly happy, I would never experience joy, I'd die alone and lonely crying with regret, I'd be miserable and bitter in my old age, my life would be serious and boring, my husband would leave me, I'd probably get breast cancer and die younger than them etc.

Anyway, she had an 'easy' birth, went back to work a dress size smaller than she was in the first place from taking her baby on long walks/running around after him when he started moving, her and her partner (decades) later are now married, have a total of five children, and are very happy together, they do have weekends away with and without the kids, she still goes to super drug 😂 she still eats lunch and she's a fantastic mum.
