Childfree Men and dating opportunities?

So there's no ambiguity in responses; I am a single, childfree man posting from the UK.

To the childfree men, mainly; How easy are you finding it to find a childfree partner?
The vast majority of women out there want children, so we have a very limited dating pool, or, so it seems to me.

I guess i'm just feeling a bit lost in trying to find someone who shares the same values as me right now and it's just feeling impossible.

This May seem odd, but how well educated are you? Among the child free by choice women I know, may be a third have a Ph.D and most of the rest Masters degrees.

They are not going to settle for someone who is not their financial or intellectual equal.
Are you worthy of a woman that chooses not to have kids?

I'm neither child free nor on a dating app but I have used them and there were a fair few men on there who were child free and made it very clear. Can I ask what age criteria you are setting? You mention women in their 20s so assuming you're going for mid 20s as the lowest age? I think the problem (as others have pointed out) is that it is quite hard to know for many in their 20s whether they will want children in future. I was ambivalent until in my 30s I suddenly really wanted children.

I guess I'm saying that I'd suspect you'd have more luck perhaps nudging the age criteria up.

My settings are generally between 28 - 40; I assume it must be the algorithm of the apps but sometimes it shows people outside of that age range, and perhaps that's where your confusion has come from?

I'm one and done. If people write child free on their profiles I assume they're looking for people also child free and I obviously avoid those wanting children.

I'm not childfree by choice but if ai was suddenly single now I would be wanting to stay childfree

The lack of vasectomy would put me off. Whilst I personally can't get pregnant I would be unimpressed that if I could that the burden of contraception would probably fall to me as condoms are not 100% reliable so would want a back up method.

I would also be suspicious that the man didn't really know for certain and pressure might come down the line to have children because he had changed his mind

@HorseyHorsham Im 50 and childfree by choice My highest official education is GCSE level and i live in social housing.

I would not even date a man with grown up children because too many grandparents are expected to do childcare. And i wouldnt want to find myself in that situation.
