Women without children you admire?

Just been bellylaughing at a Kathy Burke podcast and remembered how much I love her. She's gone through life being unashamedly herself and not taking a jot of interest in societal norms. I loved her Channel 4 doc about being a woman.

Also Beth Stern, Howard Stern's wife, who devotes herself to rescuing and rehoming animals.

I have always admired Jack Swigert, command module pilot of Apollo 13. NASA preferred married family men but Jack was single and childless.

'I know this is about child free women but Seth Rogan's interview with Kelly Clarkson about why he and his wife haven't had kids made me laugh (I also don't have kids and agreed with everything he said).'

Absolutely loved it too and it made me want to hug the pair of them! We need more well known successful people who are childfree to talk about how great it can be, and how thinking long and hard about children (if you're in any way ambivalent) is a smart thing to do
