i charge by the hour so would be 7-9 and 3 til 3 = 4 hours, charged at 3 pounds an hour is 12
so 12 x 2

or i may have just confused meself

EmMum06 · 08/07/2010 15:47

7.45 - 9 = 1.25 hours
3.30 - 5 = 1.5 hours
= 2.75 per child per day
x 2 = 5.5 per day
x 5 = 27.5 hours per week
x £3 per hour = £82.5

That is what i would charge

KatyMac · 08/07/2010 15:53

I charge before school £5 plus after school £10 so £30 a day

EmMum06 · 08/07/2010 15:58

KatyMac, is that per child or for the pair?

EmMum06 · 08/07/2010 15:58

sorry, i understand £30 a day for the pair.

i too would charge £5 per hour for under 8's and individuals but for a pair of siblings both over 8 i would only charge £3 per hour

eastmidlandsnightnanny · 08/07/2010 16:33

You may be able to find a nanny with own child willing to do those hours and depending on nanny experience and quals and area you are in you would pay about £6 gross an hr - thats per family not per child.

Saltire · 08/07/2010 16:37

I don't need the nanny, I have been asked to childmind 2 children for those hours.
