What would you put on your job description, cm's?

Hi everyone,

I have been asked to supply a job description as I am doing the online NVQ3 in Childcare.....

Any suggestions to where to begin.

Also I have to do a cv. I have not done this in years.

Your advice would be much appreciated!!!!!!

I haven't done one but if I did I would include...

Time management
Brilliant Organisation skills
Able to multitask
Leadership skills
Book keeping/ accountancy
Administration skills (for contracts, policies, laminating, letters to parents etc)

Responsible, reliable, helpful, patient, caring, understanding, firm when needed (for those parents who don't collect on time/ pay on time/ send enough nappies etc)

Not sure how I would word it in a CV though. Hopefully someone will come along with more ideas.

Registered Childminder (dates)
? Establishing childcare business
? Responsible for sole care of children aged (ages)
? Planning and implementing a curriculum to comply with the Ofsted registration and Early Years Foundation Stage
? Creating and implementing policies and procedures
? Planning and providing nutritional menus complying with food hygiene legislation and nutritional guidelines
? Creating and maintaining website
? Experience of (list special needs, medical conditions etc)
? List any relevant additional roles eg support buddy, vacancy co-ordinator, babysitting/nannying, employer etc

For a job application, the above list should focus on your strengths relevant to the job you are applying for. To accompany coursework, focus on anything relevant to the course content and the legislation you are required to follow.
