Does anyone have an update of this qualification? Any ideas?

One website says it is to be launch in September 2010, another website says December 2010? Anyone knows what is going on?

no idea

a mate of mine is due to lecture this from Sept but has had nothing yet

It's supposed to be phased in from September but no-one knows anything....

I think most colleges have pre-emptively withdrawn the DCE/NVQ/DPP/alphabet soup qualification they offered before in preparation and are in much the same boat as us!

Thank you.

It's a question that I will put to my early years team.

I have just started out, so I still have my compulsory course to go on. I was told that the course will begin in September, and I'm curious as to whether the early years team will have put me into this new course.

Only time will tell.

I have been looking on the Pre-School Learning Aliance website and The National Extention College. I have been told it will prob be released Jan 2011. Some places are still doing the Diploma and Certificate in Pre-school practise. Also cwdcouncil.org.uk has a bit of info
