Hello,

I?m enquiring on behalf of a colleague the availability of a confident and experienced female childminder/nanny based in N5 area.

The candidate would ideally need to start tomorrow (22nd July) and will care for two children; Amelia who is aged 4.5 years and Charlie 18 months.

My colleague is looking for help on a Monday- Thursday basis from 08:30-6pm, however occasional days may be longer than this.

It would be an advantage if you are locally based or have ease of transport, as Amelia needs to be taken and collected from nursery three times a week. This is a 30 minute walk or 10 minute car journey.

It is requested you have at least 2 years experience and references are also required.

If you feel you are suitable for the role please contact me on 07738303601 or email [email protected].

Many Thanks

Caroline

If your colleague needs care for tomorrow then I hate to say it but an agency nanny is your best bet.

I recommend Eden and Imperial - both have a pretty good bank of temps and that way your colleague can take their time over finding permanent childcare.

In the UK it is illegal to advertise for someone for this role based on Gender.

Of course an employer can hire who they like, so could decide not to hire a male applicant... but it isn't legal to advertise for someone female.

Agree with Frakkit - Agency may be best as they may know people available immediately... or could supply a temp for a few weeks.

You could try [www.emergencychildcare.co.uk] if you still need somebody for tomorrow. Or go to
[http://childcarefinder.direct.gov.uk/childcarefinder/] type your postcode and start ringing ALL the childminders listed there asap.
