2 wks notice from CM but Computashare vouchers still going through for Jul

Hi, I'm looking for some help please. Completely out of the blue after my CM has been looking after my daughter for 3 years and son for a year she served us with 2 weeks notice on Tuesday. Total shock and this week has been horrible. I still don't understand what I or my children (3.5 and 1) have done to deserve this. However, she's stuck to the letter of the contract so there's no point of arguing it - but I never thought, as my friend, she would ever have implemented it. I'm so flippin naive and won't make that mistake again.

Anyway, that's not the point of my post (apologies for the ramble). So, my husband phoned up the Computashare people yesterday (we both work so both get the childcare vouchers) only to be told that the Jul 1st vouchers have already been processed and there's no way to stop them - so they will go to our then ex-childminder even though she stops looking after them on Jun 23rd.

Surely this isn't right? Has anyone else had a similar situation? What should we do? The situation isn't great with the CM as it is - I don't want to have to go back to her after she's finished looking after our children to ask for money back.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks

Do you not do the transfer then, my parents do the transfer online to me when the money is due.
Do you mean that the vouchers have been generated from your income in which case they will stay in your account and can then be used for a new childminder.
She will have to return the vouchers to computershare if she does receive them as she can not give you money back, but i don't really understand why the payment can not be stopped to her.

Is it a paper voucher... can Computashare not just cancel the voucher, so if an attempt to redeem it is made it does not pay out?

this page on their website seems to me to be suggesting that paper vouchers CAN be Cancelled.

Ask your voucher administrator at your company to deal with it - they may get a different response to what you are getting.

Thank you so much for your advice. I've phoned them up and stopped mine - no problem. My husband is still having problems but has spoken to a much more helpful person now at Computershare.

Thanks again!
