Am I having a moment (quite possible !)

Today you can search for reports by area but not by date as far as I can tell; am I missing an obvious way to search by date?

You used to be able to click on reports month by month

I think that's a facility they have taken away - they probably assume that most people's search would be based on postcode or URN irrespective of when the report was published.

I can't find advanced search anywhere. The help pages refer to it but it's not there.

Google did index some reports, though who knows if it will do following the change.

Try a Google search like
sitefsted.gov.uk +06/2010 inurlxcare_providers

Google isn't currently working for me for some reason, so not sure what list that will produce though should produce some inspection reports dated in June 2010. Not what you want I know but it's a start.

BoysAreLikeDogs - I was wondering about this too but didn't want to appear a bit thick!

Ofsted have a new layout but I used to like to go on to all the latest reports just to get a feel for what's going on and what sort of things Ofsted are looking for.

They used to have a section 'Latest Reports' by area but it looks like Ofsted have taken this away.

THanks Nick, I was just wanting to have an idle poke around recent reports because I am quite sad

ScarfM, you are not alone lol

Been telling them for months it didnt work, they kept telling us it did.

Apparently what they seen on their screen is not what we see on ours.

Poor man was almost in tears, kept saying

'but I put 2000 files on it'

BoysAreLikeDogs · 11/06/2010 22:21

awwwww I feel quite sorry for him but fgs did he not think at any point to have a look on the internet

well never get to talk to him, just the people in the office.

Had phoned to complain that they were now putting our EY number on the web, which I didnt want as it can lead to fraud, as they also are putting our post code on it!!! Again not happy about that.

So he phoned me to ask why I didnt want it on, from that we got talking about the Direct Gov site
