My DD's childminder haswith my agreementrequested permission from the Care Commission to increase the number of children she can take so as to able to care for DD2 when I return to work. This would mean her having 4 pre-schoolers at some points in the week (ie 1 over and above the normal limit of 3.) The Care Commission are taking their time in responding. I'd appreciate hearing any opinions on the likelihood that this will be granted. Many thanks!

I think there is a good chance it will be granted as it is for continuity of care for your elder DD.

They granted it to me. That was in 2005 mind you. I ahd 2 brothers, aged 3 and 6 months and 2 sisters aged 2 and 4. However, I also only ever had all 4 of them for 30-60 minutes every other week Mon-Fri
