Do you put pictures of your mindees on there? Obviously with permission. I just feel it's hard to describe what I do effectively without photos.

I have a mixture of 'old' photos of children, including my 2 dd's & clip art on my website & I find that works. Plus one of my garden without children IIRC.

I put photos on my website, with parents permission. I update them roughly once a month, because the children love seeing their new photos on there. (also a good way to get parents to check the website for updates)

You can take photos from above or behind so that children are not identifiable, or focus in on what they are doing with their hands.

Yes i do. A lot of parents are reluctant to give permission for this though, so it is difficult to get a range of photos and to keep it current. I have a long list of options on my photo permission (otherwise you get a blank no if parents are unsure ... at least this way I always get permission for something).

But it is the best way to show what you do IMO. Those that don't give permission for web use will often allow printed photos, so you can still show parents at interview and Ofsted too.

No I don't I really dislike it. Wouldn't want my DD on someones webby so I certainly wouldn't put any one else's child on mine.

You can put pickys of your facilities, play areas, garden, recent displays etc. At a push I would possibly put hand pics of kids doing stuff so long as they were only hands and not recognisable in any way.

Hmm. Defo food for thought and good idea re not showing faces. I still think it's a shame tho.

Thanks.

I have pics on mine, I have permission for all of them and not one parent had a quibble, they all just said yes straight away so I was lucky.
