CM Club: My outdoor area is coming on nicely

I have half a willow structure, wooden stepping stones, log benches & today I ordered a tractor tyre so the children can have some soil to dig in

What's going on in your garden?

The greenhouse still hasn't been restored since its attack by the snow. A freebie tent we were donated is going down like a house on fire with the children. We do need a bench or something, but I want to get something different. Your log benches sound interesting. I have still failed to get the paddling pool out.

Mine are 4 ft long logs about 14 inches wide not shaped in any way - they have been trains, cars, boats & planes & they only arrived over the weekend

Hi - need to develop my outdoor area, but have a very limited budget, and was feeling very uninspired...
LOVE the idea of the tractor tyre for kids to dig in - where did you get it from? (If you don't mind me asking?)

Dh goes to church with a lady whose husband runs a plant hire place (so it was free) - but approach a tyre place they might help

We are going to plant some weeds spare plants (risk assessed of course) so the very young ones can dig/weed all they like without losing any crop

I need a man to clear the bottom of the garden - we are putting down bark, planting more willow & having a story telling area or maybe a tree house or maybe both?

I need some water, somehow, somewhere?

I have this lovely picture in my mind of Katymac's garden. I think I could live there

Katymac · 02/06/2010 21:27

I never bloody see it - too much work

But at least developing it gives me time in it

It's not big but I pack it in

Could I do something with bamboo & water? Or maybe bamboo & balls?
