Childcare in Harpenden

I am moving to Harpenden from London and would really aprreciate any recommendations for childminders or nurseries or nannies for my daughter who will be 11 months. I need childcare from August for Tuesday and Wednesday each week. I'm a bit worried I've left it too late but we have only recently decided to move there. Thanks.

Im in Markyate if thats any help, we're just off junction 9 on the M1 and on the A5,
I care a child from Harpenden, as he attends Beechwood Park Montessori School, and then at 5 yrs old, will be going to Beechwood Park Prep School.
Have you tried the FIS (family information service) site
or Childcare.co.uk?
They have childminders, nannies, au-pairs etc on there.

Whereabouts in Harpenden will you be?

The children's centre in Batford will be able to give you lots of advice, and will let you advertise for a childminder if that's what you decide on
