CM: Do you contact parents after the initial meeting?

I had an "interview" with a mum about childminding her 2 children last week. I haven't heard from her since, so sort of starting to get the hint that she isn't interested. But it would be good to know either way, so I can stop thinking about it and I know where I stand.

Do you contact them again to see if they are still interested? I don't want to put them off even more by hassling them? (Would be by email so not too bad?)

What do others do?

Yes I would send an email asking her to confirm whether they'd like to meet again etc, I have had a couple of people who have seen a number of CMs before choosing so it might be that they've got some more people to see but it's still common courtesy that they should tell you a yes, no or maybe!

Thanks! I hate the waiting bit. I am just getting started so have no mindees at the moment so its quite exciting!

Sometimes it can take ages for the parent to come back to you.

I would just give her a follow up courtesy phone call
