my boss was saying that she had rang up for some more eyfs packs and she was told that they would put it through but they couldn't guarantee that she would get them because it would be being changed. My boss said that she thought that the lib dems plans for a changed eyfs was going to happen.

Has anyone else heard this, I know it was the lib dems plan but I havent read anything about it happening.

On Teachernet it says:
"Because of high demand, the DCSF has reprinted the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) pack. The opportunity was also taken to provide clarification on areas in the Statutory Framework and Practice Guidance documents where feedback from local authorities, schools and other early-years providers has indicated this would be helpful. The legal requirements have not changed. A letter from Sheila Scales, Director of the Early Years, Extended Schools and Special Needs Group, to Directors of Children?s Services and local authorities is available from the website below, along with the revised EYFS documents, a table detailing all the changes that have been made and some FAQs."

However I can't seem to get anything from the website with regard to the revised EYFS documents mentioned.

Its all up in the air at the moment due to the change of government. Even the websites reflect this.
You can still access the EYFS via the websites though

It was always bound to change as soon as we got the hang of it. I had just sussed Birth to Three when they binned it!
