I soon have an au-pair starting in SE London (Brockley, near Lewisham). Does anyone know of a good English language school near by, or of au-pair meet-ups. Would be great to have any information that you think would be useful. Thanks.

Hello. I am a Nanny in Brockley and know a couple of Au Pairs in the area too. We have playdates with the children and sometimes go out for drinks in Brockley Jack/ Jam Circus/ The Orchard. We are more than happy for your new Au Pair to join us sometime.

Thank you AnnLinn

Our children are very young 18 months and a newborn baby - so I'm not sure how old the ones you care for are and whether play dates will work. However, I'm sure Sonia will appreciate meeting other people her age and going out to socialise so I'll pass on your email.

Many thanks again.

Hello,

My sister just arrived from France in Lewisham to help us with our baby and this would be great if she could meet some Au Pairs in the area.

Her email is [email protected]

She attends some English classes at Victoria in London but this is only once a week and our baby is very young so there are not a lot of opportunities to socialize for her.

Thanks,

Karine

Great - our au-pair Sonia arrives at the beginning of June so we'll be in touch.
