CM club; Ideas for advertising please

Can anyone give me some good ideas to advertise my childminding business.
There are so many childminders in my area!
Things have gone really quiet.
Help

post office, little shops, website?
word of mouth talk to mums at schools, door to door leafelts, open day if you have time to invite potentials to pop in one day?

I use Yellow Pages and have found that it does generate a number of enquiries. When you register for Yellow Pages, once your application is approved it goes into the online version immediately and its all free! You haven't mentioned Childcarefinder previously known I think as C.I.S. and administered by County Councils on the .gov website - that is reponsible for most of my enquiries. Good luck.
