Tax return - Don't get bank statements? What do I do?

Just having a quick look at the online tax form thingy (weep) and it says you need bank statements. I do online banking and don't get statements and I think the online banking only keeps statements for a few months on the system. Anyone else have this situation or know what to do?

The various banks that I have online accounts with all give access to about 15 months worth of statements and some longer. The only one that doesn't seem to offer a lot of historical data is Citibank.

With HSBC I can view statements online dating back to May 2004 - so they seem to keep 6 years worth of statements available online.

Check your online banking system and see what statements you can get. If you can't see where the option to find historical statements is, then perhaps post details of which bank you are with, someone may then be able to direct you.

Ah, thanks guys, turns out I panicked too soon (I'm sooo not a numbers person!). I'm with Alliance and Leicester andwhilst you can only see the statements online for 260odd days, if you call them they can tell you how much interest you've earned, so all sorted.
