Good luck, I did mine over 4 nights (3-4hrs per night) and even then I could have written more but I just lost the will to live.

Hayleycm · 09/04/2010 20:46

Good luck!
Remember, the inspector wont expect you to have completed the SEF, so do what you can, well, and don't worry about filling it all in!
It is a working document so they don't mind if its not complete, as long as they can see that you have made a start on it, to show you are evaluating yourself and your setting they should be happy!
Thats what our inspector told us, and we didn't complete ours, but were graded 'outstanding'!

Shoshe · 09/04/2010 21:21

Good luck love.

I have refused to do mine, it is a bloody waste of time, it repeats and repeats itself. till in the end you talk gobbidigook to yourself.

SKYTVADDICT · 09/04/2010 22:22

I haven't started my SEF yet, gulp!!

SKYTVADDICT · 09/04/2010 22:22

Hayley whats the practice guidance book?

Started mine ages ago, still not finished and it says the same thing over and over again. I must get it done though I'm due in June so not long to go now.

Tas1 · 10/04/2010 16:45

You can download it from the Ofsted website.
It is a guidence booklet to help you answer each question in the SEF.
