Payment to AP for Good Friday?

I was just reading the thread about CM not being paid for Good Friday.
Out of curiousity....do you pay your aupair for the full week?
would you expect your aupair to work on this day?

I would pay the normal weekly pocket money. Do you expect her to work that day? Depending on your plans I guess.

Depends on your contract I'd have thought - are you counting bank holidays as part of her holidays?

Au pairs have the right to the same amount of holiday as anyone else (5.6 weeks aka 4 weeks plus BHs) so even if she's not working the bank holiday because it's a bank holiday she should be paid. If she doesn't normally work Fridays then she shouldn't. If she's working the bank holiday she should have a day added to her holiday allowance.

Depends, as Missus says, on whether your contract stipulates BHs off.
