My Ofsted inspection was today!!

Except it wasn't.

Because they cancelled at 9.45am this morning (due at 9.30). This was the last of the 3 dates they gave me so we have had to pick 3 more!!

ARGH I just want it over with now, today the weather was lovely too for us to go out. What a pain!

I bet when she comes back there will be a blizzard all the children will be ill and I'll have had no sleep the night before!

did they give you a reason for cancelling matey??

that is soooo unacceptable - they have no concept of what it's like to be sitting on our end waiting for the visit! Personally, I would ring on Monday and lodge a complaint. In the meantime, (try to) have a fab weekend and forget about them

Just give them one date to work with and say that is the only one for the next 3 weeks that you are available due to having to rearrange things around the last 3 dates!!

Ohh it is really unacceptable that Ofsted think it is OK just not to turn up. I sat in for 2 days waiting for my inspector, when I called Ofsted they said if she hasn't turned up by 10.30 she isn't coming.

Yup they cancelled when they were all ready late! I wish I could have said to her to pick one date but she said the diary system forced her to enter 3 dates so I didn't push the issue.

Hopefully she will come before the end of next week, it's the waiting I hate!

The other childminder I work with is having her inspection today, lets home she comes. Due at 9.30!
