Emergency childcare?

Where should I be looking?
My partner has a sleep clinic appointment for my step daughter (9 months) on Tuesday. She has been asked not to bring baby with her and our childcare arrangements have fallen through at the last minute. She was due to go to grandparents who are now suddenly sick (this happens a lot!)
I'm a nanny but I obviously can't suddenly bring baby to work with me. I'm going to ask the childminders at playgroup tomorrow if anyone can take her at short notice, but is there anywhere else I can look for emergency childcare?
Thanks!

ring your local childcare information service they will have a list of childminders with vacancies or local nurseries that offer this or why not post on here what area you are in and see if anybody can help

Where in the country are you? Someone here may be able to help or try family information services/gumtree/nannyjob/childcare.co.uk.

I do this as I work 3 days and free on a thur+Friday.

I would ask your MB if you can bring your sd with you for that day as a one off.

Tbh it is no skin of her nose so to speak as she will be at work.

But if not do you have a friend who can look after ds during the appoinment or look on your local netmums - good luck

Thanks everyone! It turns out that grandparents were suddenly well enough to look after the baby for a couple of hours so today was covered. We've also spoken to one of the childminders who frequents my local playgroups who is happy to have her for the following weeks.
