CMers, What Fire drill stuff do you have?? And where is Katy?

Just realised I have nothing in terms of fire stuff written down, trying to figure out what would be the best approach to record keeping.

What do you do?

I have a sheet with a grid:

date/time

children present

evaluation - how did the drill go? any issues arising

the head of the drill record states:

EMERGENCY EVACUATION DRILL

PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN PRACTISING THE DRILL I HELP THE CHILDREN PUT ON THEIR SHOES; IN AN EMEMEGENCY WE WILL NOT STOP FOR SHOES

On the other side is a copy of the Emergency Plan escape routes

I have a laminated fire plan on wall, plan of house with route marked in red on wall, fire extinguishers, and a bloody great big fire exit sign on the exit door. We have grid thing too as per BALD also has on which mindees / carers were present and how long it took to evacuate.

And WHERE IS KATY?

Katy is taking a break for personal reasons.

I write it in my diary, which is also my register, so date and children present are already shown. I just put any notes about how long/problems/etc in the same place. No extra paperwork and the inspector can see when she looks through. (NB: I have a big diary, which acts as a register, list of activities, fire drills, record of food, daily risk assessments, etc - I just find it easier to have it all in one place and it keeps the inspector occupied).
