Cant go into detail, but you may recall i had to give notice to a family last year?...I need to find an official statement stating that unless i hold a valid first aid certificate i would not be insured / could not work as reg childminder..i can only find a line saying this, i need detail as i need to now pass it on...does anyone know where i can get it (ofsted site only had one line) thanks

Email the insurance company for clarification.
If you do not currently have your first aid certificate and you are also not booked on to a course then you would need to speak with ofsted to see whether you would be able to work for a short time. ie while waiting for a course to be available.
I would email them both for clarification.

thanks Dan, ive rang ofsted and ncma/insurance and had it verbally confirmed we MUST hold a valid first aid certificate throughout to ensure we remain reg and insured..theyre emailing me the same info now..thanks for pointing me in the right direction..hopefully it will all be over soon!
