Morning all
I have my inspection this week!!!...have been working my ass of for 2 weeks doing more R/A#s, planning, obs and making sure all child profiles are up to date...do i feel ready?...NOPE!...am just about to spell check sef and email it too them then work through all the bitty bots i need to tidy up..couple of bits needed for first aid box, MORE obs, fill in new ages in stages...sigh...if i hadnt been so quiet lately i wouldnt have got half of this done..but then im so fed up as i am so quiet at minute and once ofsted have done their deed i may well have to look for a part time job ...i need some coco pops i think!

thanks girls..have spent all day filling out new risk assessments, weekly plans, obs sheets and printing out my sef..i feel ill now!..think i need some fresh air LOL..anyway, am getting there, hopefully she'll see how hard im trying and be kind to me

Know what you mean about it being quiet... I've had a few meetings and it all seems to go really well and then I don't hear back from them. Not sure where I'm going wrong... well except I charge more than some of the competition - but then you get what you pay for! Waiting for prospective mum to arrive in 10 mins, so keep your fingers crossed for me too please.

I need some new children too, I'm starting up wall murals as a sideline for when I'm quiet but haven't had any interest in either yet.

Good luck, its also very quiet around here as well, but this morning the local children centre asked me if I could do a creche for 12 weeks so shall be doing that every friday.danthe4th

Thanks, the meeting went well (I think) mum was really lovely and little boy was cute and busily chewed his way through a treasure basket and box of instruments! Will keep my fingers crossed that it works out.

Then had a phonecall from a mum I met last week - she said she was impressed and wanted to use me but he husband refuses to use a CMer. It was nice of her to call to tell me, but it makes me wonder why people visit and take up so much time/energy when they don't want to use a CMer? I had another mum a few weeks back who at the end of a 2 hour visit told me she'd rather have a nanny and asked me how she could go about finding one.

No, haven't heard back yet, but I emailed her lots of policy documents today so hopefully that'll spur her into making a decision.

Thanks shoshe - its my first one in about 10 years and I was nervous but I feel for a first rusty atempt it's not too shabby and I'm hoping with practice I can get better.

well fingers crossed leeloo1!..LMG ill email you now ..thanks shoshe..ive got D day thursday!!!!!...and i couldnt have been so (hopefully!) well prepared without you!...thankyou so much!..will get those ages in stages into files and email them across at weekend(theres LOADS).x
Oh and that fudge sounds like something my ample arse should stay well away from!..the parents wouldnt even get to see it LOL.x
