Oh God, I just said p*ss infront of one of my mindees mums - obviously that's bad enough but the mindee was there as well, arrrgh!

Dont worry about it. I told mindees parent, very politely, that they had been full of wind all afternoon, for parent to say,'Oh no, have you been farting again!'

I was worried the parents might think the bad language from LO was coming from me only they had the decency to admit they themselves had slipped up in front of the child and that it came from them

A blinder from a child in the playgroup I also work in 'I've just farted from my mouth!'

Apparently it meant he'd burped!!! We should start a separate thread for this one.

I was looking after a just turned 2 year old who had also just given up the buggy. Walking to nursery and crossing a road a car ignored the red light and only just missed us, I lurched the child to safety exclaiming 'you twat!' .

Guess what the word of the day was? .

I'm now super super careful and use 'pants!' when off duty too now so I don't slip up again.
