how to find a family for nanny share

We're in a share at the moment with our (former) neighbors, but last night they told us that they'll be putting their child in nursery starting in April. (They have no. 2 on the way.) The share has been really successful - had a few teething pains in the beginning, but nothing serious, and the nanny has grown better and better, everyone's bonded and happy now...such a pity to see it end!

We'd really like to keep the nanny on and find a new family. But I'm not sure how - the last mum I met on the street entirely by chance one day when we both had newborns. Does anyone have any suggestions for this?

I put our details on thenannysharers.co.uk site, but it doesn't seem to get much traffic. Are there any others I don't know about? We're in central London btw. (W2) Would appreciate any tips.

There's also nannyshare.co.uk (which I think used to be called something else and seems to have more people on it than thenannysharers. Do you know any local nannies who you could ask to put the word out - or any obvious cafe-by-parks where nannies/mums on maternity leave congregate where you could put a notice on a noticeboard? I used a parent's noticeboard at ds's school when we were looking for a new share family and got a few replies from that (if you want a long term share then all dc attending the same school is important).
Is there a local NCT which has a newsletter you could advertise in?

Thanks for the tips! Have put our info on the nannysharers site now. We seem to live in a noticeboard-free zone...How I wish they had one at the Whole Foods in Kensington- it's paved with mums/dads/babies!
