Which company to choose? Nannytax / Payefornannies / anyone else?

I want to pay my nanny via a company so it's all done properly. Nannytax seems to be the market leader but it is more expensive and seems quite large and corporate. Someone I know has suggested PAYEfornannies.co.uk who are cheaper and seem to be a smaller outfit.

Can anyone recommend either, or perhaps another good alternative?

I use taxnanny.co.uk. They're cheap (£100 or so) and very efficient.

My boss uses way2paye, she used them for her last nanny too, with no problems.

We use Payefornannies- seem fine. Although if I had the slightest feeling that we were likely to encounter any problems requiring employment lawyers I would switch to nannytax as I think the extra would then be worth it.

Another vote for payefornannies. Very prompt at answering questions. Also open for queries on Saturday mornings etc.

Employment law advice is available for free from ACAS.
