Fresh bacon sarnies and bagels this morning.

I've not got anyone until 12pm today due to illness, and my two after school have cinema so I am doing a hard 12-3 today. Don't hate me, I've had a hell of a week, went to bed at 8.30 last night and woke up at 7.30. Thinking I am a tired bunny.

Hope everyone else has a lovely day x

Hi Crace...im very quiet right now too so dont start till 2.30 and finish at 5.30!..am only starting at 2.30 as mum has just asked to swap as shes not well.

been using my time to catch up on p.work and go to gym in vain attempt to get fit...went this morn, all geared up knowing what i was going to do and theyd closed full centre as heating was broke!...despite my argument that we dont USE ehating in the gym!!...so went and did shopping earlier than planned and now gonna go pay fees in..in the rain ..what a crappy day!...dear god i hope the weekends better! .x

hi!

i have fairly easy days on a Friday, too. Just a before schooler and one little one til 3!But another mum has asked me to do a favour for her this afternoon and have her lovely 5 yr old so I will take her and DS to soft play.

BTW, nice to have a staff room again!

I'm just starting for the day, I have two over 8's to pick up from school until 7.30 but I have to take one to a club at 6pm so I'll spend some of that in the car! I haven't seen them for a while so I'm looking forward to it.

I had a prospective parent come round today and she signed on the spot, only a short-term contract but it's for 11hrs a day 5 days a week so can't complain. Her boy is 4 months so I'm going to have to look out the weaning books, she's already started him a bit on solids. I didn't start DD til 7 months and I did BLW so I haven't got a clue what I'm doing!

lollipopmother: 11 hrs 5 days a week!! yikes! hope that goes well for you. maybe get the mum to provide the food at this young age? (or are you doing so already?)

i briefly considered taking on an after schooler for Fridays until today........ the little one I had is LOVELY but i really really really want some me and DS time in the week!

have a good weekend, everyone!

Number4 - Yes she offered to provide food and I let her carry on! She gives him porridge and just one fruit puree I think, problem is that she's not English although her English was pretty spot on, it just makes me slightly nervous that I haven't understood her completely although I'm pretty sure I have. It's difficult, I'm basically going to be his substitute mum for the next 1-2 months and I don't want to get anything wrong!!
