Hi I am training to be a childminder and am aware I need a CRB check and want to get the ball rolling asap as I know it can take a long time. Can anyone tell me how to go about getting the CRB check and how much it will cost me. Cheers Gem

Ofsted will bring the form out when they come for your inspection, then they do everything for you, it will cost 30 pound with ofsted fee. Hope this helps.
I'm just waiting for my crb to come back, sent it 7 weeks ago.

once your train and join ofsted you pay their fee and they give you [paperwork and it done can take up to 6 weeks though or ask at police station so at least once you been visited you can have children
